first_imgTottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino has reiterated that Harry Kane is not for sale – and says he is ‘open’ to making some January signings.Red-hot Kane has hit 32 goals in his last 55 Premier League games and has reportedly attracted the interest of Chelsea, Manchester United and Real Madrid.Real, along with city rivals Atletico, have been hit with a two-window transfer embargo meaning that they will not be able to land Kane – unless they did it this month. But Pochettino maintained his stance on the in-form England forward. When asked whether he was relieved to hear the news from Madrid, Pochettino said: “Yes, but Harry Kane is not for sale.”Spurs failed to find a way past Leicester on Wednesday night and were punished when Robert Huth’s late header sealed a dramatic 1-0 victory for the away side. And Pochettino says signing more attacking reinforcements during the window is not out of the question. He said: “I think that I’ve explained a lot of times that if we find the right profile and a player who can improve the squad we will work hard for that.“We can add some players and we are open [to that].” Mauricio Pochettino and Harry Kane 1last_img
