first_imgVanuatu’s travel industry event – Tok Tok – wrapped up for another year on Friday, with a lively gala dinner held at the host venue, Iririki Island Resort and Spa in Port Vila. Now in its 15th year, the annual networking event with the theme for 2017 – ‘Wake Up in Vanuatu’ – brought together 51 travel wholesalers from Australia, New Zealand, North America, New Caledonia, China, Japan and Fiji to discover, or rediscover, Vanuatu. These include a new cruise ship wharf on Espiritu Santo, which was officially opened last month, and renovations to the Bauerfield International Airport terminal, that are due for completion at the end of the year.“Our tourism product is continually being enhanced and upgraded across the board in Vanuatu.
